This workshop is for executive leadership teams leading an organisation through a mass disruption event. It's for teams feeling the stress, urgency and increased responsibility that comes with leading others through a recovery process and the challenges of climate adaptation.

This full day workshop equips leadership teams with the tools and insights needed to lead effectively through crisis and disruption. 1. Prepare to partner – engaging exercises to enhance communication and collaboration as a leadership team. The objective is to strengthen team dynamics as an ELT which will flow into broader organisational partnerships.
2. Resource yourselves and each other in the face of complexity and wicked problems. The objective is to strengthen a culture of support and shared understanding within the leadership team to enhance individual and collective wellbeing and performance.
   
3. Reflect on disaster related achievements, lessons identified, and the implications for the future: The objective is not only to acknowledge achievements but to translate lessons identified into actionable strategies, providing a roadmap for future challenges.
   
4. Explore techniques to balance individual portfolio priorities and collective success: The objective is to gain insights into the delicate balance between individual and team priorities post-disaster. We dive into how to balance/transition between disaster recovery work, a regular work programme and future development for community outcomes.
   
5. Foster a sense of belonging and navigate the process of letting go for organisational growth: The objective is that leaders become skilled in balancing both a sense of belonging and the detachment required for change in the post-disaster environment and an increasingly complex future.
6. Define anchoring questions to guide decision-making over the next 12 months: The objective is to create a 'shared compass'. This fosters a sense of accountability and alignment among team members required to lead successfully in a post-disaster environment. This exercise is based on our interviews with a 100 global recovery leaders.
   
7. Conclude with an appreciation activity and feedback: The workshop concludes with an appreciation activity and a sharing of commitments based on the day's insights.
